Humans Are Funny

Do you remember how optimistic you were when you were younger?
"I want to be a teacher."- Age 5
"I want to be a doctor."- Age 7
"I want to be an astronaut."- Age 8
"I want to be an athlete."- Age 10
"I want to be an actor."- Age 12
"I want to be a musician."- Age 13
"I want to be a prime minister."- Age 15
"I want to be rich and famous."- Age 16
"I want to graduate and get a good job with easy money!"- Age 17

As you get older, things are getting bigger than how they used to be. Responsibilities haunt you every single day. You are learning that life isn't as simple as the concept of good and bad. What you thought was fun when you were younger, turns out to be another weight you have to carry on your aching shoulders.

Then comes "Love".

Love strikes into every human's life out of nowhere. It spreads quickly like a deadly virus in a flash snatch. It provides humans with motivation in the name of pain and pleasure. Its selfish traits push humans to make this fragile thing called 'Love' as their priority in life.  Love promises humans a lifetime happiness - after episodes of pain and misery.

As humans get older, they get wiser.

As humans get to know 'Love', they get hurt, for they are to be stronger in time.

As humans get to know 'Love', they are survivors in the making.

As humans get to know 'Love', they understand better.

As humans get to know 'Love', they are learning.

As lessons learned, you are complete.

Do you remember how optimistic you were about what do you want to be when you were younger?

As you get older, you realize that all you want is just to be happy.

As you get to know love, all you want is just to be happy with your loved ones.

And in the end, all you want is just to be that one person who is able to make your loved ones happy.
Even if it takes your power, your pleasure, your pride.

Humans are funny.
